who want to better their lives and the lives of
others in the community. Is that you?
What
is AmeriCorps?
AmeriCorps is a national service program (think of
it as the domestic Peace Corps) that gives
individuals an opportunity to serve their community,
meet critical needs, develop new skills and have new
experiences.
HandsOn Greater Phoenix AmeriCorps members
serve as volunteer project coordinators for twelve months
and serve at a local shelter, school or community
organization. Our members serve on a team of ten and gain valuable
nonprofit, career and leadership experience.
