Bowling with Civitan House
Get out your bowling shirt and bowling shoes - Civitan House is going bowling, and we want you to join them! The residents of Civitan House are adults with developmental disabilities, and having fun with volunteers is one of their favorite things to do! The cost for Civitan House to host the bowling project costs $320 each occurrence ($8/person for 2 games and shoes). This opportunity is important to the residents and something we'd like to continue to offer. Please consider a donation to the bowling project to help sustain it.
This is a family friendly opportunity; the minimum age of volunteers is 8 years old. All volunteers ages 16 and 17 who wish to attend without a parent MUST bring a signed Youth Volunteer Waiver to each volunteer opportunity.
By signing up for volunteer opportunities and not attending, you may be depriving someone else the chance to participate and Civitan House of much-needed support. Please note that in an effort to accommodate volunteers who sign up for opportunities by choice, HandsOn Phoenix does not accept court ordered volunteers and will not sign off on any court-related documents.
