Help Settle Refugee Families with Welcome to America Project
Help refugee families receive a warm welcome as they begin their new life in America! Come show our new neighbors what truly makes our country great; our "HEART of SERVICE".
As a way to reach more people, the location for this project is different each Saturday. Please bring drinking water and wear comfortable shoes & clothes to get dirty in! Volunteers age 16-17 must bring a signed Youth Volunteer Waiver.
- Saturday Volunteers are needed to either sort & pack at the clothes closet or load and unload furniture and set up the home.
- Volunteers must provide their own transportation to the storage site and to each of the 3 new residences.
- Three families will be supported through volunteer support.
- Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes that can get dirty.
- All youth volunteers must have a youth waiver form and any youth under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
