PHX Cool Roofs
PHX Cool Roofs is our new sustainable communities initiative in partnership with the City of Phoenix. We are recruiting volunteers to help us coat 70,000 sq. ft. of public rooftops with reflective coating in an effort to significantly reduce energy use, greenhouse gas emissions and energy costs.
The minimum age to volunteer without a parent or guardian is 18 years old; minimum age is 16 with a parent or guardian. Volunteers should wear clothes that can get paint on them and closed-toe shoes and must be able to climb a ladder in order to access the roof.
