Serve A Thon Volunteer Leader Training & Happy Hour

Volunteer Leaders are volunteers who are trained to serve as the liaison between HandsOn Greater Phoenix, our community service partners and our volunteers. This training is for volunteers who will lead a one-day volunteer project; you will learn more about how to lead meaningful volunteer projects, specifically for our Special Days of Service projects. You will leave this training ready to successfully lead a one-day volunteer project as well as have fun with new friends.

WHAT:
HandsOn Greater Phoenix develops and manages 30 volunteer projects to directly benefit the clients and students of community organizations and under-resourced schools. For each of our projects, HandsOn then develops a task list, secures the necessary supplies and provides volunteers leaders. But we need additional Volunteer Leaders to help make the projects a success! Teams of volunteers will transform our community in just one day – cleaning up neighborhoods, brightening school classrooms, painting homes for seniors and veterans and so much more! Please join us and be a part of this amazing day!

WHEN:
Saturday, April 26, 2014, 8am – 12pm; you will also be required to attend one site visit.

WHERE:
Projects take place all over the Valley! We will place you at the one most convenient for you!

WHY:
