Toastmasters with the Lodestar Day Resource Center

Join this public speaking group with volunteers, homeless clients, and staff at the Lodestar Day Resource Center and help change lives! The LDRC is a safe, engaging, holistic community that empowers people to end their homelessness and create positive, long-term life changes. While this weekly group helps homeless clients to improve their public speaking skills, it has many additional benefits with the help of volunteers. The class helps to rebuild self esteem of homeless clients as they stand up in front of others and learn to speak up. The group is fun, light hearted, and at times silly.

The minimum age requirement for this project is 18 years old.

This project is located at the Lodestar Day Resource Center on the Human Services Campus.
