Dinner Party at the Respite Shelter
Bring good cheer and a dish to serve and share with men who are working towards self-sufficiency after being ill or injured at the Respite House, a faith-based organization. Volunteers are needed to provide food and fellowship for this fun-filled dinner party! You will leave filled to the brim with tasty food and fellowship!
The minimum age for this volunteer opportunity is 8. All volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent. Those aged 16 and 17 who wish to attend the project MUST bring a signed Youth Volunteer Waiver to each volunteer opportunity. The Respite House is located behind the church and is labeled F on the North side of the building. It is located on the West end of the church parking lot. Parking is available directly behind the building.
By signing up for volunteer opportunities and not attending, you may be depriving someone else the chance to participate and the volunteer opportunity of much-needed support. Please note that in an effort to accommodate volunteers who sign up for opportunities by choice, HandsOn does not accept court ordered volunteers and will not sign off on any court-related documents.
