Campus Enhancement Project @Rosie's House (Referral)
Rosie's House: A Music Academy for Children mission is to give the underserved youth of Greater Phoenix the gift of music education by providing instruments and free instruction. Through music we encourage discipline, offer hope, and help students reach their full potential.
We have been given an amazing opportunity to enhance our space by replacing all our furniture, updating the walls and creating our new technology lab, but we cannot do this alone. We need several ambitious and driven handyman capable volunteers who can help with many jobs that may contain 1 or more of the following:
-disassembling furniture
-assembling furniture
-cleaning work spaces
-preparing and painting walls and ceilings
-moving items 5lbs. - 15lbs. or 20lbs. - 50lbs.
Volunteers should wear old clothes they do not mind ruining, closed toed shoes, long pants and bring a water bottle, painting mask and gloves for lifting if they choose. Only sign up to volunteer if you know you will be able to attend and are committed to helping at the specific time you registered for.
