Animal Care Angels at HALO Animal Rescue
HALO is an acronym that stands for Helping Animals Live On. Our volunteers will help this no-kill animal shelter ensure that all animals get the love, care, and socialization they deserve while they await adoption. Activities may include animal care, cleaning kennels, and general shelter maintenance.
The minimum age requirement for HALO is 18 years old. Volunteers should bring a reusable water bottle, plenty of SPF, and wear closed toe shoes and long pants. Please park in the main parking lot east of the shelter entrance.
By signing up for volunteer opportunities and not attending, you may be depriving someone else the chance to participate and the volunteer opportunity of much-needed support. Please note that in an effort to accommodate volunteers who sign up for opportunities by choice, HandsOn does not accept court ordered volunteers and will not sign off on any court-related documents.
