Point of Dispensing Volunteer Training (Referral)
The training and class will provide the knowledge and skills to be able to set up a Point of Dispensing site if Maricopa County was to experience a public health emergency. Points of Dispensing would be set up in an event to dispense prophylactic medications and treament to the general public.
Maricopa County Department of Public Health Office of Preparedness and Response will be providing Point of Dispensing (POD) training classes. The volunteer can choose between two dates to attend, October 18th OR October 25th from 8-12 Noon.
Please contact Jennifer Metcalf @ jennifermetcalf@mail.maricopa.gov for more information and to receive the required paperwork necessary to be filled out and submitted prior to class. No previous expereince needed, just a willingness to help.
