Make A Difference Day 2016: Cards for Fighters & Window Mural @ Don't Be a Chump
Join HandsOn at Don’t be a Chump! Check for a Lump! this Make A Difference Day, the nation's largest day of volunteer service! Bring your creative side as we decorate and compose cards for patients of breast cancer. In addition, HandsOn volunteers will also increase the organization's visibility by painting its logo and a pair of pink Breast Cancer Ribbons on the front window panes. The youngest age to volunteer at Cards For Fighters is 8 years old. The minimum age to volunteer without a parent or guardian is 16 years old. Volunteers who are 16 & 17 coming without a parent or guardian need to bring a signed Youth Waiver Form. Volunteers 15 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Please note that volunteers under the age of 16 are not allowed to paint. Volunteers should wear clothes that can get dirty and closed-toe shoes.
