Make A Difference Day 2016: - Alley Activation and Street Art at Medlock Place
Join us at Medlock Place in Central Phoenix this Make A Difference Day, October 22nd; the nation's largest day of volunteer service! Come join us and help beautify and improve safety within the neighborhood. Medlock Place remains one of the more historic neighborhoods within the City of Phoenix. Come help us as we freshen up paint on irrigation boxes and paint murals that help showcase the historic nature of the neighborhood. Volunteers will have the opportunity to help our City's Police as we clear out overgrown plants and debris allowing better access. The minimum age for volunteering is 12 years old. Volunteers ages 16 & 17 coming without a parent or guardian need to bring a signed Youth Waiver Form. Volunteers 15 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Volunteers should wear clothes that can get dirty and closed-toe shoes. We look forward to seeing you at the project! By signing up for volunteer opportunities and not attending, you may be depriving someone else the chance to participate and the volunteer opportunity of much-needed support.
