Glendale Xeriscape Garden Workday (Referral)
Come and spend the day outside with the Glendale Conservation & Sustainable Living to help maintain the award-winning Glendale Xeriscape (low-water-use) Demonstration Garden, located at the Glendale Main Library (5959 W. Brown Street Glendale, AZ 85302). Volunteers will help with a variety of garden maintenance and upkeep projects, including: pulling weeds, raking leaves, cleaning plant signs, trimming overgrown vegetation, picking-up litter, etc. No previous garden work needed. Dress comfortably for work outside. Close-toed shoes are a must. We provide the safety vests, leather work gloves, all tools, and light refreshments.
