Childhelp Playroom Volunteer (Referral)
Playroom volunteers provide direct support and supervision to children who visit the playroom at Childhelp Children's Advocacy Center for child abuse, neglect or trauma related services. Playroom Volunteers interact with children aged birth to 18, and provide comfort and supervision as needed.
Requirements:
Volunteers must be over age 18 and out of high school. Interview, background check, including references and fingerprint clearance is required. Volunteers in the program are asked to work 2, four hour shifts for a minimum of 8 hours per month for at least 6 months. Operating hours are Monday-Friday, 8a-6p.
