Emergency Food Box Pantry Assistance (Referral)

St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance, Surprise Facility is in need of volunteers to help with our Emergency Food Box Pantry Area.  Volunteers in this area assemble food boxes on carts for needy individuals/families seeking emergency food assistance.  The work requires some bending, light lifting and bagging, but is a fun, worthwhile and rewarding way to spend a few hours and give back to the local community. A 4-hour shift commitment is needed - either a morning shift, 8am to 12pm or an afternoon shift, 12pm to 4pm. 

Minimum age of volunteer for this project is 16 years old with approval from a parent/guardian.  To volunteer at St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance, all individuals must complete and sign a Volunteer Application Form, which includes a parent/guardian waiver for any volunteer ages 16 and 17.  Volunteer application link:
