Mentors for Youth (Referral)
Boys Hope Girls Hope provides scholarship and mentoring opportunities to academically capable, motivated youth in grades 6 through 12.
Our mentors provide a consistent source of support through friendship and role-modeling. Our goal is to expose our scholars to quality adults who share their lives, develop trust, and enjoy mutual interests.
BHGH mentors interact with their scholar 1-2 times per month, supported by staff to ensure a mutually beneficial, ongoing relationship. A one year commitment is desired; we provide required orientation and training. Most of our scholars come from inner-city neighborhoods in central Phoenix.
