Living with Myeloma Conference (Referral)
Jim Lane, the Mayor of Scottsdale and leader of the Scottsdale Cure Corridor will kickoff the 9th Annual Living With Myeloma Conference.
Renowned faculty include: Dr. Robert Kyle, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN; Mayo Clinic, Scottsdale, Az.; Dr. Frits Van Rhee, UAMS; Dr. Rafael Fonseca, Mayo Clinic , Scottsdale, Dr. Gorgun Akpek and Dr. Javier Munoz, Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center; Bodour Salhia, PhD, TGEN.
Other participants include researchers and healthcare professionals from Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Scottsdale Health Care and Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center, as well as leading community myeloma groups.
The Conference is regional and open to all patients, families, friends, caregivers, cancer researchers, community physicians, healthcare professionals and the business community. It is a great way to learn from others who meet and beat the challenges of Multiple Myeloma, an often misdiagnosed cancer of bone marrow plasma cells.
