PHX Arts and Culture @ 30 Years Celebration (Referral)
The 30th anniversary of the Phoenix Arts and Culture Commission is approaching and to celebrate, the commission is having a big celebration Downtown. Public Works plays a major role in ensuring that events like this are sustainable. We have a goal to reduce the amount of trash that goes into landfills and we need the help of volunteers to achieve this goal. Volunteer Duties: Setting up trash/recycling bins at the site Monitoring the bins Changing and replacing the bags in bins Ensuring that recyclables are going into the correct bin We only expect our volunteers to monitor the bins once every hour. Therefore, volunteers are free to enjoy the event for the majority of their time. Our staff will also be at the site to assist volunteers as needed.
