Blankets of Love - WORLD RECORD!
We need your help to break a Guiness World Record for the most people making no-sew fleece blankets! Our friends at YANA, You Are Not Alone, need your help to make these blankets that will be donated to cancer patients at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Goodyear, Arizona.
No special skills required but this event is a fundraiser for YANA. Volunteers can help by providing a small donation which they use to purchase the material they need for the blankets. You can find out more here!
Minimum age to volunteer is 5 years old.
The project is open to the public. You DO NOT need to be an active HandsOn volunteer to participate. All are welcome!
Project will take place at Lowell Elementary School in downtown Phoenix.
