Rain Garden Care Workshop (Referral)
Visit WMG's premier public water-harvesting site and learn how to keep a rain garden in tip-top shape! Established in 2011, Primera Iglesia is WMG's first Phoenix-area demonstration site and is now supported on rainwater and greywater alone, with no irrigation system. Join us for a rain garden care workshop to see how it's done and learn proper pruning techniques to keep your trees healthy and long-lived. You'll learn how to identify the helpful plants from the weeds, how to maintain rockwork and water-harvesting basins, and you will help install plant identification signs to provide information to visitors at this educational site.
