HandsOn AmeriCorps VISTA

The HandsOn Greater Phoenix team is honored to lead a dedicated group of AmeriCorps VISTA members. These individuals commit to a year of full-time service within nonprofit organizations and government agencies.

Throughout their service, VISTA members work to strengthen the capacity of organizations focused on poverty alleviation by creating sustainable solutions in areas such as fundraising, volunteer engagement, and project management. To gain deeper insight into the challenges faced by the communities they support, AmeriCorps VISTA members receive a modest, poverty-level living stipend.

Since 2010 HandsOn Greater Phoenix has been managing VISTA members across the valley. In recognition of their dedication, we invest in our VISTA members by offering ongoing professional development throughout their service year. These opportunities are designed to equip them with the skills, knowledge, and support needed to make a lasting impact—and to serve their communities to their fullest potential.
