Affirmation Card with Free Arts

Free Arts is looking for in-person volunteers at our building on Friday, November 5 at 10:30am – 1:30pm.

NO ARTISTIC SKILLS REQUIRED! Get out of the house or office and help children in your community at this in-person volunteer event with Free Arts for Abused Children of Arizona. The mission of Free Arts is “transforming children’s trauma to resilience through the arts.” Attendees will create Affirmation Cards for the children we serve. These are basically index cards that are hand-written and hand-decorated by volunteers. Every child in our programs receives an Affirmation Card to celebrate their progress, practice positivity, and promote self-reflection. Most importantly, a child knows that a caring adult took the time and effort to make a unique Affirmation Card for them. Here's what to expect:
