Guest Service Guide (Referral)
A Guest Service Guide is a friendly, enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual who acts in support of the Guest Service department in creating a positive guest experience. A Guest Service Guide greets guests, assists with way-finding, and assists with the re-staging of the Museum's Guideport system at the Guest Service desk. They will also assist with Coat Check and the preparation of Will-Call tickets for MIM Music Theater events:
- Providing assistance to museum guests by greeting and providing them with directional information (ie: location of café, restrooms, etc).
- Responding to guests' "most asked" questions on MIM's history and policies, general museum questions and Guideport use
- Providing assistance with Coat Check and Will-Call
- Assist with the re-staging of the Guideport system by plugging the units into chargers, cleaning headphones and properly storing the units
Time Commitment
Being a Guest Service Guide at MIM is a flexible commitment. Volunteer team members can choose their schedule based on their needs and convenience.
