Volunteer Opportunity: CSA Produce Box Assembler

Location: Project Roots Farm Homestead, Glendale, AZ
Time Commitment: 10am-1pm Every Wednesday

About Project Roots:
Project Roots is dedicated to providing fresh, local produce to our community while promoting sustainable farming practices. Our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program is a key part of this mission, offering members fresh, seasonal produce each week.

Role Description:
We are seeking dedicated volunteers to help assemble CSA produce boxes. As a CSA Produce Box Assembler, you will be responsible for carefully selecting and packing a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables into boxes for our CSA members. This role is vital to ensuring that our community receives high-quality, fresh produce each week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Select and pack fresh produce into CSA boxes according to weekly guidelines.
- Ensure that produce is handled with care to maintain quality.
- Label and organize boxes for delivery or pick-up.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized packing area.
- Communicate with the team to ensure all orders are accurately filled.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work on your feet and lift boxes up to [Specify Weight, e.g., 20 lbs].
- Punctuality and reliability.
- A passion for local food and sustainable farming is a plus!
