9/11 Service Week

Each September 11, Americans across the nation will mark the anniversary of 9/11 attacks in 2001. To commemorate this occasion, we ask you to honor the victims and heroes of that day through acts of service that will recapture the spirit of unity that swept the nation in the wake of the tragedy of 9/11. In the aftermath of September 11, 2001, we saw community members unite to help raise each other up. It is in that spirit that community will continue to be built.

2024 9/11 Service Week Wrap Up

Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2024 9/11 Service Week!

HandsOn volunteers stretched out across the Valley to garden at urban farms, distribute food boxes to families, cook up meals for disadvantaged youth, complete crafts at the HandsOn office and more! With everyone that participated, we wracked up over 150 volunteer hours of people dedicating their service to remember and honor those we lost on September 11, 2001. Together we can create a better tomorrow.
