9/11 Day of Service

Each September 11, Americans across the nation will mark the anniversary of 9/11 attacks in 2001. To commemorate this occasion, we ask you to honor the victims and heroes of that day through acts of service that will recapture the spirit of unity that swept the nation in the wake of the tragedy of 9/11. In the aftermath of September 11, 2001, we saw community members unite to help raise each other up. It is in that spirit that community will continue to be built.

Thank You, 9/11 Volunteers!

During our 9/11 weekend of service 113 volunteers spent 256.5 hours serving those in need and strengthening out community!

Welcome to America Project

Sixty American Express corporate volunteers consolidated The Welcome to America Project's storage containers and set up their new warehouse expansion. HandsOn & AmEx were thrilled to support WTAP's efforts to continue welcoming new refugees to Arizona.

Chef's Night Off at HomeBase

Our volunteers prepared dinner for 20 youth living at Native American Connection's HomeBase.

Project C.U.R.E

HandsOn Volunteers partnered with Project C.U.R.E. staff to sort life-saving medical supplies, fix up broken wheel chairs, and pack a shipping container full of supplies to be sent overseas to Syria.

Additional HandsOn volunteers participated in 9/11 Day of Service & Remembrance projects. HGP community volunteers participated by sorting wigs in Buckeye, cleaning community kitchens in Phoenix, walking foster dogs in Scottsdale, gardening in Glendale, and more.

Thank you for uniting in a day of service with others across the country!
