Seasonal Supply Drives

While we often promote volunteerism, there are many other meaningful ways to stay civically engaged in our communities. One simple, yet impactful way to contribute is by donating essential items to support individuals in need across a variety of causes.

In that spirit, HandsOn Greater Phoenix is launching a new initiative, Seasonal Supply Drives, to help our nonprofit partners get the resources they need to continue their vital work. Every few months, we’ll partner with a different nonprofit from a diverse range of issue areas to create a wishlist of much-needed items.

Current Need: Halloween Costume Drive

This supply drive is in support of youth staying in shelters and group homes to bring them a little magic this Halloween.

Your donation of a costume is more than just a fun outfit, but it’s a chance for a child to feel seen, special, and empowered. Many of these children may not otherwise have the opportunity to dress up.

A costume can help them imagine a world where they are powerful, magical, and brave. For a child facing difficult circumstances, that spark of imagination can mean everything even if its just for one night.

How You Can Gift Magic this Halloween:

Buy new: Order from our Amazon wishlist to pick out a costume, accessories, and trick or treat bags!

Donate gently worn costumes: We welcome gently used costumes from the community! Take a moment to clean out your closets and donate Halloween costumes that your children have outgrown.
