Family Volunteer Day at HandsOn Greater Phoenix
Saturday, November 23rd, is National Family Volunteer Day!
Bring the family to this fun and engaging volunteer event at the HandsOn Greater Phoenix office in Mesa! Families can expect to complete small construction builds and crafty projects to benefit our nonprofit partners. Whether it's stuffing plush animals for foster kids, making no-sew blankets for Veterans, building outdoor furniture for local Title I schools, or assembling kitted projects for youth, we'll have an activity for you to get creative for a cause!
The minimum age for participation is 6. All Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Volunteers ages 16 and 17 who aren't attending a project with a parent/guardian MUST bring a Youth Waiver signed by a parent or guardian, to each project.
If you would like to register your child/children, please email the opportunity coordinator listed below and ask to reserve a guest slot(s). Please note, volunteers 13 years or older can create their own HandsOn account and sign up for opportunities directly (activation fee is not applicable for those under the age of 16).
