Pick Your Time -10-Minute Opportunity! Chilled Water Station Stewards Roosevelt

PICK YOUR DAY & TIME! This is a 10-minute, independent, flexible, micro-volunteering opportunity!

The City of Phoenix is on a mission to create a sustainable network of chilled drinking water stations in high-density areas of the City, adapting innovative technologies to respond to rising urban temperatures.

The success of these chilled drinking water stations depends on public use- which means keeping them clean and inviting! Take 10 minutes, 1-2 times during the week you sign-up for, to help monitor and clean the drinking station at the Roosevelt Mini Park. Simply check the water temperature & water flow and wipe down the unit!

Do you walk by the mini park every morning? Do you ride your bike down Roosevelt Row once a week? This quick and easy volunteer opportunity is flexible, so you can choose any day/time during the week you sign up for to stop by and conduct the cleaning. Cleaning supplies are located on site. Further instructions will be provided in your confirmation email.

Volunteers must be 16 years or older to sign up.

Be a part of an innovative and sustainable project that provides cool drinking water for Phonecians while reducing the use of plastic water bottles! Sign Up to adopt a week today!

Please note, this is an independent volunteer opportunity. The website will always reflect that one of two slots is filled. Please disregard this. If one spot is remaining, then we still need a volunteer to visit the water station 1-2 times that week. You will not work with another volunteer or meet anyone else on site.

The opportunity date and time you are looking for is no longer available. Here are the next available dates and times.
