Local First Arizona: Choice Food Pantry at Mesa Community Kitchen (Referral)
Join us at Local First Arizona's community kitchen in Mesa!
The pantry serves residents of a low-income housing community - we provide fresh fruits and vegetables along with education about nutrition in a welcoming atmosphere where residents can choose their own items.
Voluneers are needed on the first and third Thursday of the month. The morning shift is from 9:15 - 11:00 a.m. and the afternoon shift is from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Morning volunteers will do more prep work, organizing, and set up and afternoon volunteers will focus on operating the pantry and engagign with community members. There will be an on-site orientation for each shift.
