9/11 Service Weekend: Kid Connection at the Salvation Army Family Shelter
Volunteers will spend quality time with children at the Salvation Army Emergency Family Shelter. Arts & crafts, reading, games, and sports are par for the course at this volunteer opportunity. Volunteers will get to meet new people and make a difference in a child's day!
The minimum age for this volunteer opportunity is 18.
If this is your first time volunteering at this project, please send a copy of your driver's license to Brittany.Scott-Membrila@usw.salvationarmy.org at least two days before the project date. The Salvation Army will conduct a National Sex Offender search to ensure the safety of the children at the shelter. We appreciate your cooperation! Court-ordered volunteers cannot attend this event.
Volunteers will be asked to sign the Salvation Army's volunteer forms upon their arrival. They can be reviewed here.
