HandsOn School Transformation Day!

CALLING ALL HANDSON VOLUNTEERS!
Join us on Saturday, March 7th for an exciting (and family friendly) school transformation project at Capitol Elementary School in Phoenix. Ever wonder what our corporate volunteer groups take part in at our school volunteer projects? Now is your chance to experience it first hand!
(Please note: this project is designed to engage our community volunteers in a unique project experience. Corporate groups will not be accommodated at this event, but are encouraged to explore engagement options on our corprorate volunteer page: https://www.handsonphoenix.org/companies)
Volunteers will help make improvements around campus and refresh the school for the final quarter of the school year and beyond. Tasks will include:

  • Ground mural painting
  • School garden makeover
  • Bench top painting
  • Library organization
Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty! We recommend wearing a hat and sunscreen.
The minimum age for this volunteer opportunity is 6 with a parent or guardian. Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Volunteers ages 16 and 17 who aren't attending the project with a parent/guardian MUST bring a Youth Waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
