Join us for HandsOn's Give Back Bash- one week of youth friendly volunteer opportunities just for families looking to serve together this summer!
Monday through Friday, June 15th - 19th, we invite families with kids as young as 8 years old to attend one or all five of our featured volunteer opportunities. Whether you want to spend one day giving back, or deepen your impact by participating in all five events, we would love to have you join us! Each event will also involve an educational component to teach youth about the issues our community faces, the work being done to solve them, and how we can come together to make change.
If you are an adult without children looking for volunteer opportunities, please do not register for this event. The Youth Give Back Bash is reserved for youth and families.
DAY TWO: Project Smile AZ Art Kit Assembly
Let's gather at Be Kind People Project to assemble art kits on behalf of Project Smile AZ, a youth-led nonprofit organization making a difference right here in our community! These kits will be donated to youth who don't have access to arts and crafts materials. Volunteers will decorate boxes, pack a variety of craft supplies into them, and create fun book marks to include in each kit as a personal touch. We will also hear from the founders of Project Smile AZ and learn more about what inspired them to spread smiles around the state!
The minimum age for this volunteer opportunity is 8 years old. All youth under the age of 16 must attend this opportunity with a parent/guardian. Volunteers ages 16 and 17 who aren't attending the project with a parent/guardian MUST bring a Youth Waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

Please note, volunteers 13 years or older can create their own HandsOn account and sign up for opportunities directly (activation fee is not applicable for those under the age of 16).
