Join us for HandsOn's Give Back Bash- one week of youth friendly volunteer opportunities just for families looking to serve together this summer!
Monday through Friday, June 15th - 19th, we invite families with kids as young as 8 years old to attend one or all five of our featured volunteer opportunities. Whether you want to spend one day giving back, or deepen your impact by participating in all five events, we would love to have you join us! Each event will also involve an educational component to teach youth about the issues our community faces, the work being done to solve them, and how we can come together to make change.
If you are an adult without children looking for volunteer opportunities, please do not register for this event. The Youth Give Back Bash is reserved for youth and families.
DAY THREE: Arizona State Veterans Home Games and Grub
The Arizona State Veterans Home provides care to up to 104 Arizona Veterans in central Phoenix. Let's show these brave Vets how much we appreciate their service to our country! Volunteers will cook burgers and hot dogs, serve lunch and dessert to the residents, eat alongside them, and host a Bingo game! This social volunteer event is a wonderful opportunity for families to share a meal and good conversation with the Veterans who call Arizona home.
The minimum age for this volunteer opportunity is 8 years old. All youth under the age of 16 must attend this opportunity with a parent/guardian. Volunteers ages 16 and 17 who aren't attending the project with a parent/guardian MUST bring a Youth Waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

Please note, volunteers 13 years or older can create their own HandsOn account and sign up for opportunities directly (activation fee is not applicable for those under the age of 16).
