Project HEAL: Phoenix Chapter
https://www.theprojectheal.org/Project HEAL is a non-profit organization built on the principle that all people who struggle with food and body image issues should have access to professional support and care that they need to heal, regardless of age, gender identity, race, ability, or financial means. Project Heal has a Treatment Access Program (TAP) that provides grants for people who want to recover, but cannot afford treatment. Treatment for eating disorders can cost between $500 - $2000 per day, and most individuals need 3 - 6 months of treatment. The TAP has been able to help out nearly 100 individuals. The Phoenix chapter is looking to build a community of support to help those who are suffering, bring awareness to the issue, and de-stigmatize mental health disorders.
