supporting the community through immunity

HandsOn Greater Phoenix is a local nonprofit whose mission is to put volunteers to work where they are needed most.  We are working with Arizona State University Research Enterprise (ASURE) and other local partners at ASU Desert Financial Arena (indoors), DexCom (indoor/outdoor), Yuma Civic Center (indoors) and Gila River Arena (indoors) to register and schedule volunteers to help staff the vaccine sites. Be a part of this historic effort!

If you sign up for a volunteer shift, and have not received your vaccination, you will receive it at the end of your shift. If you're already vaccinated, come on out to help others receive theirs.  We all need to work together to provide a combination of volunteer and paid staffing at these sites so that ALL Arizonans have the opportunity to be vaccinated.  We ask for your help to support this months-long effort.

Ready to step up your service? HandsOn is recruiting for a Covid Response AmeriCorps program. This program will center around helping the greater Phoenix community distribute the vaccine, assist with food security, and heat relief. The program will run for roughly 10 weeks at full time with start dates beginning in May. Program members will receive a living stipend, an end of service award, and national service experience. This is a great way to make a meaningful impact, especially those who are college aged and looking for a paid summer experience to learn more about national service! If you, or anyone you know, is interested, please fill out this form!

We're calling for all "HandsOn" deck to help with vaccine efforts!  If you have already volunteered and received your vaccine, please join us again.  If you haven't volunteered, come on out to help others get vaccinated while you also receive yours!  These sites will require both volunteers and paid staff to run at maximum efficiency. Shifts are now available at the newest indoor site in the West Valley, Gila River Arena.  Or join us at the indoor site, ASU Desert Financial Arena or the DexCom site in Mesa, which is hybrid outdoor/indoor operation for volunteers.  Let's pull together to vaccinate State 48!
NOTE: Photo IDs are now required at volunteer check-in.

Volunteer shifts will only appear if there are volunteer spots available. If you do not see any shifts to sign up for that means all spots are currently full.
