Black History Celebration at the Garden of Tomorrow (Referral)
Join us for a special celebration of Black Excellence at the 'Garden of Tomorrow' this Black History Month! On the 4th Saturday of February, we're coming together for a day of community, empowerment, and growth.
Event Highlights:
Tree Planting: Help us plant trees that will not only beautify our community but also improve our environment. Qualified census tract residents can sign up to receive two free trees installed in their front yard!
Inspiring Speeches: Listen to thought-provoking speeches that celebrate Black Excellence, resilience, and achievements. Learn about the rich history and contributions of the African American community.
Free Haircuts by Cuttin Up Community Project: For those in need we will be providing free hair cuts! Visit our barber chair for a fresh cut and boost your confidence.
Wood Reclamation Project: Join the effort to rejuvenate our garden beds by working on a wood reclamation project. Help us revitalize the garden infrastructure for a sustainable future.
Youth Art Exhibit: Discover the creativity of our young artists at the Youth Art Exhibit. Support budding talents and explore the world of art.
